The order matters — and it depends which way the document is going.
For a U.S. POA used abroad: the POA is signed and notarized here, the notarization is apostilled, and then we translate the POA and apostille into the destination language. For a foreign POA used in the U.S.: we translate it into certified English. Translate after the document is finalized, never before signing.

My POA is for use overseas — what's the order of steps?
Sign and notarize the POA first, apostille the notarization, then we translate the POA and the apostille into the destination language. We handle the translation; for the notarization and apostille themselves we point you to the apostille service.
Can you provide a notarized translation of the POA?
Yes. A notarized translation pairs our certified translation with a notarized statement from the translator — some foreign authorities ask for that. We'll tell you whether your destination actually requires it so you're not paying for a step you don't need.
