// do you need a certified translation?

Does your divorce decree need a certified translation?

Yes — if it's not already in the language the receiving party requires.

USCIS, courts, universities, and consulates require a complete, certified translation of any document not in their working language — every word, stamp, and seal — accompanied by the translator's signed certificate of accuracy. We translate your divorce decree to or from Russian · Ukrainian · Spanish · Portuguese · Turkish.

// translate before or after the apostille?

We translate your divorce decree — certified, accurate, and ready to file.

Certified translationTranslation + apostille bundle

The order matters — and it depends which way the document is going.

A foreign divorce decree filed with USCIS needs a certified English translation — usually no apostille. A U.S. divorce decree used abroad needs the clerk-certified copy apostilled first, then we translate the decree and its apostille into the destination language. Decrees are multi-page, so price is per page.

// how it works

A certified translation in three steps.

01

Send us a scan

Email or upload a clear photo or scan of the full document — every page, including stamps and seals. Tell us the language and what it's for (USCIS, a court, a school, a consulate).

02

We translate & certify

A native speaker translates the document in full, then signs a certificate of accuracy stating the translation is complete and correct — the format USCIS and U.S. institutions require.

03

Ready to file

You receive the certified translation, ready to submit. Need the original apostilled for use abroad too? We coordinate that as a separate step through the apostille service.

Divorce Decree translation FAQ.

My divorce decree is several pages — how is it priced?

$10 per page. Court decrees run longer than vital records, so send us the full document and we'll give you an exact page count and total before we begin.

Do I translate the whole decree or just part of it?

USCIS and courts require a complete translation of the entire document, including stamps and seals. We translate everything on every page and certify the full translation — partial translations get rejected.
